The Situation
Family estate, racecourse training track, intertwined with the Chantilly domain.

Acquired ~50 years ago to "bring culture to LA and preserve culture in France." Surrounded by art, manuscripts, gardens, the world's largest horse stable, polo, steeplechase, car shows, and flower shows.

The Center will honor her parents' legacy and reach an American audience, without becoming "a ball and chain." The goal is $6-8 million a year (6 years) for the building with $50 million for endowment.
